Strengths:
A lot of opportunities for young children and their families to participate in fun activities all throughout the community. Canfield is a safe community, that allows for the development of young children to be outdoors. Families and children living in Canfield have many options for participating in sports including soccer, baseball, softball, swimming, tennis, football, and golf just to name a few.
Weaknesses:
The majority of the activities only occur in the summer. Also, I noticed there are not that many activities planned for high school age children or young adults. Some of the events held at Mill Creek MetroParks are starting to draw in a younger crowd but I think the community would benefit from more diverse programs for all age groups.
