Youth/Adolescents:
Health education activities are promoted to the city of Canfield's youth through the school system. Starting in middle school, children attend health class which is another way to promote healthy life styles and to teach the consequences of having a non-healthy lifestyle.
In high school, the students continue onto a higher level health class where they learn sex education, and speakers from the community come into class to educate the students on this matter.
Giant Eagle grocery store has paired up with Canfield High School and they are now doing an Apple for the Students program where the kids use their student ID and when healthy foods are purchased, it adds up points for the school to receive new technology.
